Scope Media  ·  San Diego

Video Editing Services in San Diego.

Between destination shoots, lab footage, and everything in between, San Diego brands shoot a lot that never makes it past a camera roll. We turn that raw footage into video built to actually get watched, whether it's a quick clip for social or a longer piece meant to hold an audience.

A video editing partner built for San Diego's mix

San Diego isn't one content scene, it's several running side by side. Hospitality brands are filming destination and property content, biotech and health-tech teams are turning research and webinars into something a non-scientist can follow, and outdoor and lifestyle creators are posting from the coast on a near-daily schedule. Scope Media works across all of it, taking raw footage and turning it into finished video built to perform, whether that's a short-form clip designed to grow your social media presence or a long-form upload built to hold an audience.

We work as an in-house editing team, not a rotating bench of freelancers. The same editor stays on your account from the first project onward, learning your pacing, your caption style, and what your audience actually responds to. That's what separates a one-off edit from an ongoing content strategy, and it's usually what San Diego's more active brands and creators are looking for.

Built for what San Diego produces

Most of our San Diego inquiries fall into a few categories. Destination and hospitality footage usually runs through long-form editing, brewery and restaurant social clips run through short-form, and biotech webinars or health-tech explainers get their own workflow entirely.

What it costs

Pricing works the same for San Diego clients as everywhere else: a real number upfront, no "contact sales" step in the way.

The work, not just the pitch

Nothing here was dressed up for this page. It's the same reel every prospective client gets shown before they sign anything.

Hear it from clients

These weren't written by us. Every quote below came from someone who got their footage back and decided it was worth saying out loud.

San Diego Video Editing FAQs

How long does an edit take once I send footage from San Diego?

Short-form pieces are usually back with you in 24 to 48 hours. A full long-form video or podcast episode takes closer to a week, depending on how much footage there is to work through. You'll know the real timeline before anything is charged.

Do you work with hospitality and biotech brands, or mainly creators?

Genuinely a mix. A hotel group cutting destination footage and a biotech team turning a conference talk into a webinar recap come to us the same way an outdoor creator does. Each project still gets one dedicated editor who learns the account, not a queue shared across clients.

Can you cut destination or brewery footage into something usable for social?

Yes, that's common work for us. Destination reels and brewery or restaurant clips run through short-form editing, while fuller hospitality features and health-tech explainers run through long-form. Send what you shot and we'll tell you which process fits.

What happens if I want a refund partway through?

Before editing starts, it's a full refund, no explanation needed. Once we're partway through revisions, the refund is scaled to how much of the project is finished, and we'll always show you exactly where things stand first.

What's included when you hand a project back?

The finished file in whatever aspect ratio you need, captions either burned in or handed over separately, and the project file kept on our end in case you want changes down the line. Nothing extra tacked on that you didn't ask for.
