Raw footage comes in, an edit built to actually get watched goes out. That's the job, whether you're a creator posting daily, a brand shooting a campaign, or a podcaster turning one recording into a week of clips.
Los Angeles moves faster than almost any content market in the country. Brands, creators, and podcasters here need a video editing partner who can keep pace without slowing down the creative process. That's what Scope Media does: we take raw footage and turn it into finished video content built to perform, from short-form reels designed to grow your social media presence to long-form YouTube uploads built to hold an audience.
We work as an in-house editing team, not a rotating bench of freelancers. The same editor stays on your account from the first project to the fiftieth, learning your brand's pacing, your caption style, and what your audience actually responds to. That consistency is what turns a one-off edit into an ongoing content strategy, and it's what LA's fastest-growing channels and brands are usually looking for.
Most of our LA inquiries fall into a few categories. Real estate walkthroughs and corporate recaps usually run through long-form editing, listing teasers and wedding highlights run through short-form, and multi-cam podcasts get their own workflow entirely.
Pricing works the same for LA clients as everywhere else: a real number upfront, no "contact sales" step in the way.

Talk to us →This is the same portfolio every new client sees before they send us a file, unfiltered and not sorted by market. Watch a few and judge the cut, not the pitch.
Not scripted, not paid for. These are people who sent us their footage, got it back, and were willing to say what they thought of it on camera.
Short-form edits typically come back in 24 to 48 hours. Long-form and podcast work takes longer depending on scope, usually 3 to 7 days. We confirm the exact number for your project before any deposit changes hands.
Both. We hear from independent YouTubers and TikTok creators just as often as we hear from small production companies covering overflow work for a bigger client. Either way you get one editor and one point of contact, not a project manager relaying notes.
Yes, that's a regular request in LA. Listing walkthroughs and corporate recaps usually go through our long-form process, while listing teasers and social recap clips go through short-form. Tell us the format and we'll route it correctly.
If editing hasn't started, your deposit is fully refundable, no questions asked. Once we're into revisions, a refund is prorated against the work already done, and we'll tell you plainly where a project stands before any further charge.
A finished export sized for wherever it's going, 9:16, 1:1, or 16:9, captions burned in or handed over separately, and the organized project file in case you need to revisit the edit later. Nothing bundled in that you didn't ask for.
Tell us the deadline and send what you've got. We'll say plainly if it's realistic before you commit to anything.
